National Assembly to pass 10 bills this week

VOV.VN - The National Assembly is scheduled to give opinions and pass 10 bills in the last working week of the seventh session, starting on June 24.

Among the bills are those on the organization of People’s Courts (amended); social insurance (amended); road rules; road traffic order and safety; asset auctions; defense, security and industrial mobilization; and capital law (amended).

Notably, the National Assembly is anticipated to approve amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Land Law; the Housing Law; the Real Estate Business Law; and the Law on Credit Institutions. In a report submitted to the National Assembly, the Government proposed that these laws be enforced from August 2024 as opposed to the start of 2025.

In addition, National Assembly deputies will also debate nine other bills on prevention and combat of human trafficking (amended); value added tax (amended); notarization (amended); cultural heritage (amended); pharmacy (amended); fire prevention, fighting and rescue; people’s air defense; urban planning and rural planning; and geology and minerals.

They will vote on a resolution approving documents on the ratification of the UK’s accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP); and resolutions on specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province and Da Nang city.

The seventh session of the National Assembly is scheduled to be wrapped up on June 29.
