National Assembly Standing Committee to hold session on July 12

VOV.VN - The Standing Committee of the National Assembly is scheduled to convene its 24th session in Hanoi on July 27 to examine important issues, according to the Office of the National Assembly in its announcement on July 11.

During their three-day sitting chaired by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and other vice chairmen, key lawmakers will give opinions on bills relating to road and road traffic order and safety.

They will consider and approve a draft resolution on the arrangement of administrative bodies at district and commune levels in the 2023-2030 period.

They will also examine the implementation of a resolution on the holding of meetings between National Assembly deputies and voters; a report on the ombudsman service of the National Assembly, and a supervisory report on the reform of textbooks for universal education.

The key lawmakers are set to review the results of the recently concluded mid-year session of the National Assembly, and give opinions on preparations for the year-end sitting.
