Key lawmakers to meet in Hanoi this week
VOV.VN - The Standing Committee of the National Assembly that comprise key lawmakers of Vietnam will convene their 35th session in Hanoi on July 10-11 to examine Legislative Ombuds’ affairs and preparations for the coming parliamentary forum on supreme supervision.
Key lawmakers will also consider and approve a draft resolution on the dissolution, establishment and merger of a number of criminal investigation agencies of military zones, and a draft resolution on strengthening the organizational structure of the Military Procuracy at all levels.
They will decide on supplementing the 2024 state budget regular expenditure estimates of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security.
They will also consider adjusting the medium-term public investment plan from the State budget for ministries, central agencies and localities in the 2021-2025 period, and allocating unused capital from the socio-economic recovery and development programme for several big projects.
At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will evaluate the outcome of the recent seventh session of the National Assembly and give opinions on the preparation of the year-end session of the legislature.
