Key lawmakers examine preparations for legislature’s year-end session
VOV.VN - The National Assembly Standing Committee is scheduled to convene its 16th session in Hanoi on October 10 to discuss preparations for the legislature’s year-end session.
Key lawmakers will scrutinize draft reports on issues of voter concerns to be presented to the legislative body at the year-end session and results of the settlement of voter concerns at the legislature’s previous session.
They will also give opinions on Government reports on implementation of socio-economic development and state budgetary tasks in 2022 and plans for 2023. They also look at draft reports on results of implementation of public investment plans in 2022 and plans for 2023.
Also high on the agenda will be reviewing implementation of a National Assembly resolution on special development policies for Ho Chi Minh City – the country’s largest economic hub, and on special financial and budgetary policies for the capital of Hanoi.
The lawmakers will also give opinions on the Government’s implementation of the national strategy on gender equality, the management and use of the Health Insurance Fund, and social insurance mechanisms.
The session is scheduled to last for three days.
