Elite lawmakers to examine bills for NA extraordinary session
VOV.VN - Elite lawmakers will give opinions on a number of bills and resolutions to be submitted to the coming extraordinary session of the legislature due to take place in February 2025.
These bills and resolutions will be discussed the at the 42nd meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee which is set to be held in Hanoi on February 5-7.
Among the legal documents are the amended Law on the Organization of the Government; the amended Law on the Organization of Local Governments; the amended Law on the Issuance of Legal Documents; and the Law on Amendments and Supplements to Some Articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly.
The lawmakers will debate National Assembly resolutions on the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term; the number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term; the organizational structure of specialized agencies of the National Assembly; and the number of members in the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly.
They will review and approve several resolutions to implement the 2024 Law on the Organization of People’s Courts; a resolution to ratify the proposal of the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People’s Procuracy on the organizational structure of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
In addition, the lawmakers will provide feedback on the explanation, reception, and revision of the draft Law on Teachers and the amended Law on Chemicals; and the Ordinance on the Management and Protection of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Memorial Site.
