Vietnamese leaders congratulate Xi Jinping on being re-elected China President
VOV.VN - Top Vietnamese leaders on March 30 sent letters of congratulation to Xi Jinping on his re-election as President of China.
President Xi was re-elected at the first session of the 14th National People’s Congress of China which is getting underway in Beijing. This is his third term in office. Currently, Xi is also General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party.
The letters of congratulation were sent by Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Vo Van Thuong, president of Vietnam.
The same day, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue sent a congratulatory message to Zhao Leji on his election as chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also cabled a congratulatory message to Han Zheng on his election as vice president of China.
