Vietnamese leaders congratulate US President elect Donald Trump
VOV.VN - Party General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on November 7 sent congratulatory messages to Donald Trump on being elected President of the United States.
In their messages, the Vietnamese leaders affirmed that Vietnam considers the United States a strategically important partner.
They expressed confidence that, with the solid foundation built by many generations of leaders from both countries over nearly three decades, and with Trump’s strong support in both his first and upcoming terms, the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership will continue to develop in a deep, effective, and sustainable manner.
This development will benefit the people of both nations and contribute to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the wider world, they said.
On the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also sent a congratulatory message to Vice President-elect James David Vance.
