Vietnam presents IT equipment to Cuban legislature

VOV.VN - The National Assembly of Vietnam has presents its gift, including 750 tablets, 2 servers and 2 all-in-one printers, to the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba to support its operations.

Addressing the handover ceremony in Hanoi on July 20, Tran Thanh Man, vice chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, noted that the gift shows Vietnam’s solidarity and consistent support for the Party, State, National Assembly and the just revolutionary cause of the Cuban people.

In response, Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Orlando Nicolás Hernandez Guillen thanked the National Assembly of Vietnam for the special gift, and reaffirmed the stable and faithful relationship between the two countries.

Cuba is actively updating its economic model, and expects to maintain reciprocal exchanges with Vietnam to deepen bilateral cooperation in the coming time, he said.

The Ambassador also said Cuban leaders are looking forward to welcoming National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to Cuba for an official visit soon.
