Vietnam opposes ‘yellow flag’ items released in Australia
VOV.VN - Vietnam regrets and strongly opposes the release of items with ‘yellow flag’ images in Australia, Pham Thu Hang, deputy spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on May 4.
The fact that the Royal Australian Mint and Australia Post released some items with the image of the ‘yellow flag’ – the flag of a regime that has no longer existed is completely inconsistent with the good development of the Vietnam - Australia strategic partnership, said Hang in response to media workers’ question.
According to the deputy spokesperson, Vietnam had discussed the case with the Australian side, and requested that the Australian side stop the circulation of the items, and at the same time not let similar cases happen in the future.
