Vietnam attends St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024 in Russia
VOV.VN - Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang is taking part in activities within the framework of the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) which is getting underway in St. Petersburg, Russia, from June 5-8.
Themed “The Formation of New Centers of Growth as the Cornerstone of a Multipolar World” SPIEF 2024 brings together the world’s leading politicians and businessmen to identify and discuss the problems that Russia, emerging markets and the global community are facing, and to find solutions to these problems.
The main business programme of SPIEF 2024 is divided into four thematic areas: “Transition to a Multipolar World Economy,” “Goals and Objectives of Russia’s New Economic Cycle,” “Technologies for Leadership,” and “Healthy Society, Traditional Values and Social Development: The Priority of the State.”
The forum also includes more than 10 business dialogues between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Association of Southeast Asian nations (ASEAN); Russia and Africa; Russia and Latin America; Russia and China; Russia and South Africa and other bilateral meetings.
Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang is scheduled to deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the forum on June 6.
Vietnamese businesses are expected to share information about Vietnam’s resilience and ability to achieve set goals in all conditions, especially in today’s changing world conditions.
