The two sides examined measures to further strengthen bilateral relations, including stronger connectivity between the two economies through trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, logistics, science and technology.
They also agreed to promote cooperation in culture, education and training, people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between localities, with a view to strengthening ties and mutual understanding between the two peoples.
They vowed to coordinate activities under the 2027 Vietnam-Laos Year of Solidarity and Friendship to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos and the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the two countries, along with other important events between the two Parties and States in 2027.
