President To Lam’s visit makes Laos headlines

Laos’ major print and online newspapers as well as radio and television stations ran many articles about Lam’s visit, affirming that the working trip is of great significance, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples of Laos and Vietnam.
Pasaxon, the mouthpiece of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, and Khaosan Pathet Lao of the Lao News Agency (KPL) all published news and articles praising the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.
The media agencies emphasized that in the history of international relations, the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam is an outstanding and unprecedented model that has brought many benefits to the people of Laos and Vietnam not only in the past struggle for national liberation, but even in the current cause of national construction and defense.
President To Lam arrived in Vientiane on July 11 for a State visit to Laos at the invitation of General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith.
This is his first oversea trip after he was elected President of Vietnam in May 2024, showing Vietnam’s desire to further cultivate its special relationship with Laos.
