PM Pham Minh Chinh warmly welcomed in Cambodia
VOV.VN - Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techno Hun Sen on November 8 hosted a welcoming ceremony for Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh who arrived in Phnom Penh on the same day for an official visit to Cambodia and participation in ASEAN Summits and related meetings.
In the solemn atmosphere, Hun Sen invited his guest to the podium and they both reviewed the guard of honour.
During his two-day visit, PM Pham Minh Chinh is scheduled to hold talks with PM Hun Sen, pay a courtesy visit to King Norodom Sihamoni, and meet with Senate President Say Chhum, and National Assembly chairman Heng Samrin.
The two PMs will then attend the Vietnam - Cambodia trade and investment promotion forum. The Vietnamese PM will also visit a number of socio-economic establishments symbolizing cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.
This is the PM’s first official visit to Cambodia that takes place during the ‘Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Year 2022’.
After the visit, he is scheduled to attend the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and related meetings, including ASEAN +1, ASEAN +3, East Asia Summit, and ASEAN-US summit.
