VOV.VN - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived at San Francisco International Airport, USA, on September 17 (local time) for a working trip to attend high-level meetings of the 78th UN General Assembly (UNGA 78) and engage in bilateral activities there.
During his stay from September 17-23, Chinh is scheduled to attend and deliver speeches at a UNGA general debate, a climate ambition summit, a high-level meeting on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response, among others.
He will have bilateral meetings with the UN Secretary General, the President of the UNGA 78, and leaders of other countries and international organizations.
The PM is also set to have meetings with the US Vice President, leaders of the US Congress, the US National Security Advisor, and some members of the US administration.
He will meet with representatives of the Vietnamese community and Vietnamese officials working at UN organizations, visit a number of leading universities and businesses in the US, the NASDAQ stock exchange, attend a trade and investment promotion conference between Vietnam and the US, and witness the signing ceremony to establish a sister city relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and New York.
