Party General Secretary To Lam concludes State visit to DPRK
VOV.VN - A high-ranking Vietnamese delegation led by Party General Secretary To Lam returned to Hanoi on October 11, successfully concluding their State visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

They were seen off at Pyongyang International Airport by Kim Song Nam, alternate member of the Political Bureau, member of the State Affairs Commission, and Head of the International Department of the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee; Im Chon In, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs; Vietnamese Ambassador to the DPRK Le Ba Vinh; and officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Pyongyang.
During the October 9-10 visit, senior leaders of the two Parties held in-depth discussions and identified key directions and major measures to further strengthen and substantively advance the Vietnam–DPRK relationship in line with the interests and aspirations of the peoples of both countries.
The two sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the wider world.
While staying there, the Vietnamese Party leader attended a grand ceremony in Pyongyang, marking the 80th anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and visited several cultural and historical sites.
