Laos, Cambodia extend congratulations to Vietnam on Party’s 94th anniversary
VOV.VN - The Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and the Central Committee of the Cambodian People’s Party sent congratulatory messages to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on the 94th anniversary of the CPV (February 3).
In its congratulatory message, the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party highly appreciates the CPV’s clear-sighted leadership role in bringing the revolutionary cause to glorious victory over the past 94 years. It especially values the great, comprehensive and historically important achievements Vietnam has recorded in implementing the Renewal process since 1986 under the leadership of the CPV, helping the country to maintain stability, develop the economy, improve people’s living conditions, and expand foreign relations.
The Lao People’s Revolutionary Party congratulates Vietnam on those achievements, considering them valuable lessons and a great source of encouragement for the cause of national development and defense in Laos, reads the message.
It says it believes that Vietnamese people under the leadership of the CPV led by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will reap greater development achievements, to build Vietnam into a modern industrial country towards the goal of a rich people, a strong country, and a just, democratic and civilized society.
The message recalls the close bond between Vietnam and Laos, and expects that the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries will live long forever.
In its congratulatory message, the Central Committee of the Cambodian People’s Party also highly appreciates the achievements that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have recorded in recent times, helping to elevate Vietnam's prestige and position globally.
The Cambodian People’s Party is extremely happy about the positive development of the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples under the motto of ‘good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive, sustainable and long-term cooperation.’
The Cambodian side expresses its belief that Vietnamese people under the leadership of the CPV led by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will reap greater development achievements in successfully implementing the Resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress. It expects that the Central Committee of the CPV will successfully achieve its goal of developing Vietnam into a high income, developed economy by 2045.
