Foreign Minister writes in condolence book for Queen Elizabeth II
VOV.VN - Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son on September 10 morning went to the British Ambassador’s private residence to write in the condolence book to mourn Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on September 8.
The Vietnamese Foreign Minister expressed his condolences to the royal family of the Queen, as well as the government and people of the UK, and at the same time highly appreciated the Queen’s good feelings and support for promoting the Vietnam-UK relationship.
Earlier on September 9, State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue sent their condolences to King Charles III and British officials over the passing the Queen.
Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8 at Balmoral Palace, Scotland, at the age of 96.
The British Embassy in Hanoi and the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City on September 9 set up condolence books to mourn the Queen. People can come to commemorate the Queen on September 9 and from September 12 to 16.
