Foreign Minister receives new Cuban Ambassador

VOV.VN - Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son received new Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Orlando Nicolás Hernández Guillén in Hanoi on July 23.

Son suggested that the Cuban diplomat work to bring into full play the Vietnam – Cuba Inter-governmental Committee and other bilateral cooperation mechanisms. 

He expressed his hope that the ambassador will help promote measures to expand and enhance bilateral ties in fields that match each side’s potential and strengths, particularly health care, COVID-19 vaccine supply and transfer of vaccine production technology.
