Defence Minister hosts Israeli military officer
VOV.VN - General Pham Van Giang, Minister of National Defence of Vietnam on June 2 received Major General Amir Eshel, director general of the Israeli Ministry of Defence who is in Hanoi for the second Vietnam – Israel Defence Policy Dialogue.
Gen. Giang welcomed the results of the dialogue held on the same day, which he said would contribute to strengthening bilateral defence relations and the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in general in the coming time.
The leadership of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam will continue to create conditions for the two sides to deploy new and effective forms of cooperation suitable to the needs and capabilities of each side, focusing on human resource training, technology transfer, cyber security and rescue cooperation among others, said the Minister.
Major General Amir Eshel emphasized that his working visit to Vietnam is to find new cooperation opportunities between the two defense ministries.
He said during the second Vietnam - Israel Defense Policy Dialogue the two sides had signed a document of future cooperation with practical and specific contents, regularly meeting the needs of defence cooperation between the two countries in the coming time.
