Cambodian Senate president pays floral tributes to President Ho Chi Minh
VOV.VN - A Cambodian delegation led by Senate President Samdech Say Chhum on October 25 laid a wreath and paid tribute to Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi.
The delegation was joined by several high-ranking Vietnamese officials, the Cambodian Ambassador and officials of the Cambodian Embassy in Hanoi.
Samdech Say Chhum is in Hanoi for an official visit to Vietnam from October 24-26 at the invitation of Vuong Dinh Hue, chairman of the Vietnam National Assembly. The two leaders held their talks in Hanoi on October 24.
His visit comes hot on the heels of another Vietnam visit by Cambodian National Assembly chairman Heng Samrin a month ago, that shows their desire to enhance political trust between the two Parties, two countries, and two legislatures.
Samdech Say Chhum is scheduled to meet with Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on October 25.
