Another Vietnamese officer deployed to MINUSCA in Africa
VOV.VN - The Ministry of National Defence on April 21 presented the State President’s decision to Major Su Tan Phi Long of the High Command of Military Region 7 who is about to depart for the UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA).

According to the State President's decision, Long will serve as a Military Observer at MINUSCA, replacing Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Si Hieu.
Congratulating the officer, Deputy Minister of National Defence Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien asked Maj. Long to promptly grasp the local situation upon arrival; immediately engage in his duty; fulfill his responsibilities effectively; and enhance his research, analysis, and forecasting capacity.
Furthermore, he noted that the officer must thoroughly understand and strictly adhere to the Party’s foreign policy; strictly observe the discipline of the Vietnam People’s Army, UN regulations, local laws and regulations, while maintaining military discipline throughout the mission.
Addressing the ceremony, Maj. Long affirmed that he is ready for the mission and will proactively cooperate with local and international colleagues to accomplish his task, thereby promoting the friendly and humane image of Vietnam, as well as the fine qualities of the Vietnamese soldiers to international friends.
