Algerian President lauds Vietnam’s development achievements

VOV.VN - Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune highly valued Vietnam’s role and position globally as well as its achievements in national development and international integration while receiving Vietnamese Ambassador to Algeria Tran Quoc Khanh.

During the June 6 reception for the diplomat, Tebboune noted both Algeria and Vietnam have treasured traditional friendly relations, laying an important foundation for further promoting the friendship and multifaceted cooperation in the interest of the two peoples.

He welcomed the newly accredited ambassador to Algeria and assured that Algeria would create all conditions for the ambassador to fulfill his duties during the new working term.

Ambassador Khanh for his part affirmed Vietnam’s desire to consolidate and further develop the good traditional friendship and cooperation relationship with Algeria.

He also said during his working term he would try his best to contribute to raising the two countries’ relations to new heights, including enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, fisheries, culture - education and national defense.

On this occasion, he conveyed Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong’s greetings to President Tebboune.
