Deputy Defence Minister receives RoK’s outgoing, new defence attachés

The Deputy Minister used the event to affirm that the Vietnamese Government and Ministry of National Defence always places great importance on the strategic co-operative partnership with the RoK. Indeed, the Vietnamese side considers this to be a foundation which can serve to enhance bilateral defence ties in an increasingly substantive and effective manner across various fields.

During the course of the function, Deputy Minister Chien congratulated Col. Ryou Jae-guen on finalising his term in Vietnam, hailing Ryou’s considerable contributions to bilateral defence co-operation which has been steadily growing in line with the demand and capacity of each nation.

Upon welcoming the newly-appointed Defence Attaché Col. Kim Dae-young, the Deputy Minister reiterated the position of the Vietnamese Ministry to offer the best possible conditions for him to fulfil his tasks as a means of developing mutual defence ties in a comprehensive and effective manner moving forward.
