Czech President begins State visit to Vietnam

VOV.VN - President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman arrived in Hanoi on June 6 to begin his three-day State visit to Vietnam at the invitation of President Tran Dai Quang.

President Zeman’s delegation includes his wife Ivana Zemanova, Minister of Justice Robert Pelikan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vaclav Kolaja, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Jiri Koliba, Deputy Minister of Interior Petr Mlsna and several other officials.

The visit aims to affirm the Czech Republic’s desire to reinforce friendship and cooperation with Vietnam, as well as the country’s wish to increase bilateral ties in a more extensive and effective manner.

The visit is seen as a good chance for both sides to seek measures to enhance bilateral partnership across fields, especially economy, trade, investment, education-training and labour export and compared notes on regional and international issues of shared concern.
