CPV keen to boost collaboration with Mongolia’s political parties

VOV.VN - Le Hoai Trung, secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and head of its Commission for External Relations, held working sessions with General Secretary of the ruling Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) Yangug Sodbaatar and Vice Chairman of the Mongolian Democratic Party (MoDP) Batchimeg in Ulaanbaatar on October 1.

The meetings were conducted within the framework of Party General Secretary and State President To Lam’s state visit to Mongolia.

Trung highlighted the significance of the State leader’s visit to Mongolia, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations. He was appreciative of the upgrade in ties between the two nations to that of a comprehensive partnership which elevates ties to new heights.

Co-operation between the CPV and Mongolia’s political parties has played an important role in the development of bilateral relations, he said, affirming that the Vietnamese side values and wishes to continue strengthening its relationship with Mongolia. He also proposed several measures aimed at further enhancing collaboration between the CPV and the political parties of Mongolia.

Hailing the top Vietnamese leader’s state visit, the hosts affirmed the importance of mutual relations, as well as their support for the development of bilateral ties. They also agreed upon the expansion and improvement of the efficiency of co-operation with the CPV.

On this occasion, Trung and General Secretary Sodbaatar signed a memorandum of understanding on collaboration between the two parties moving into the new period.
