Chinese media continue to highlight Vietnamese Party leader’s visit

VOV.VN - A series of major Chinese newspapers and media agencies such as the People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Central Radio and Television on October 30 published news and many in-depth analysis articles on the ongoing visit by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Vietnam-China relations.

The People's Daily, the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of China, and Xinhua News Agency on October 30 solemnly published articles on the start of an official visit to China by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and President Xi Jinping.

The People's Daily also run an article by Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son under the title "Adding fresh impetus to the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership", which affirms that Vietnam and China have maintained a long-standing traditional relationship, built and cultivated by generations of both nations' senior leaders, along with practical cooperation achievements recorded over the past time.

"We believe and expect that the Vietnam-China relations will constantly add new impetus in order to take their ties new heights, thereby bringing better benefits to the two peoples, and contributing to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world as a whole,” Son said.
