Cambodia asked to help Vietnamese telecommunication firms

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked the Cambodian Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications to help Vietnamese firms in doing business in the country, especially in the fields of telecommunications.

The request was made at a September 9 reception in Hanoi on September 9 for Cambodian Minister Tram Iv Tek.

The Vietnamese government leader spoke highly of the outcomes of talks between the Cambodian Minister and Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan, saying the two sides should intensify experience sharing for mutual benefit.

Minister Tram Iv Tek, in turn said the visit aims to step up collaboration between the two ministries and learn from Vietnam’s experience in developing information and telecom technology.

Both sides had agreed to direct agencies and units to realize cooperation deals to facilitate Vietnamese businesses' investments in Cambodia.
