Boao Forum opens in China's Hainan Province
VOV.VN -The 2016 Annual Conference of the Boao Forum for Asia opened in south China's Hainan Province on March 22.
During the 4-day forum, more than 80 activities will be held including seminars, roundtable discussions, and dialogues attracting the participation of more than 300 scholars and 1,700 delegates.
They will discuss issues relating to innovation, regional connectivity, macro-economic regulation, major economic issues, emerging economic phenomenon, and emerging industries.
At this forum, Vietnam wants to raise its position in the region through discussions with leaders of other countries about economics, finance, the environment, science, and technology.
The country also aims to promote its dynamic economy and potential. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh is leading a Vietnamese delegation to attend the event.
