Tam Coc-Bich Dong lights up for New Year 2018

VOV.VN - More than 5,000 colourful lotus flower lanterns were released to float down the Ngo Dong River at a lantern music festival welcoming in the New Year on December 29 at Tam Coc Bich Dong tourism site, in Hoa Lu district in the northern province of Ninh Binh. 

  Thousands of visitors, including 300 foreign tourists, attended the festival to pray for peace and good fortune. 

    The lantern festival is jointly held by Hoa Lu district’s People’s Committee, the provincial Department of Culture and Sports and the Ninh Binh provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS).
