Hoi An traffic update – city square closes to traffic and cyclos
VOV.VN - Starting May 15, the city square plaza will be closed to vehicle traffic from nine am to 11 am and from three pm to 10 pm daily during the dry season, according to the Hoi An Culture and Sports Centre.

In addition, Phung announced plans are in the works to ban cyclos from travelling in the old quarter from five pm to 10 pm daily during the dry season and from five pm to 9:30 pm during the rainy reason.
The cooperation of motorists, cyclos operators and pedestrians is appreciated.
Since 2004, vehicle traffic on the plaza has been restricted to reduce noise, pollution and ensure safety for tourists, said Mr Phung.
