Foreign tourists to Lam Dong rise sharply

VOV.VN - The Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced the number of foreign arrivals to the central highlands province of Lam Dong has increased sharply this year. 

In the nine months leading to October, the number of visitors to the locality surged over 8% to more than 4.3 million visitors compared to last year’s corresponding period. Of the figure, the number of foreign tourists rose 67% to nearly 240,000 against last year. 

Foreign tourists to Da Lat and Lam Dong are mostly from Germany, China, Thailand, Russia and the Republic of Korea.

The increase in the number of tourists is attributed to improvements in the quality of several local tourism products, infrastructure and the friendly environment.
