An insight into the fascinating murals on display in Hanoi’s Chu Xa village

VOV.VN - A group of young volunteers have transformed the plain walls of homes throughout Chu Xa village in Van Duc commune of Gia Lam district in Hanoi into beautiful mural paintings which showcase both nature and daily life.

A total of 20 mural paintings have brought a new and attractive feature to life in the village.
The murals on display reflect the life of local people.
As a specialty of the area, fruit and vegetables feature heavily throughout the murals, serving to make the village a more colourful environment.
The addition of the mural paintings excites local residents.
 
A group of young volunteers keenly took on the challenge of drawing the murals.
The largest painting among the murals spans a total area of 30 square metres.
Homes throughout the village are now decorated with colourful images.
