17 must-see places in Ninh Binh province

VOV.VN - Am Tien Cave, Trang An, Tam Coc, and Bich Dong to name a few are attractive destinations for visitors to Ninh Binh province.

Trang An tourism complex is called an 'outdoor geological museum' with numerous caves, mountains, valley water, trees and historic relics.  The site was also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List of Natural and Cultural Sites in June 2014.

Bai Dinh Pagoda is famous for many records such as the largest pagoda of Vietnam, the biggest gold - plated copper of Asia and the longest lobby in Asia. 

Tam Coc is likened to Ha Long Bay on Land. It has three caves: Ca, Hai and Ba formed by the Ngo Dong River.

Bich Dong is one of the most beautiful caves in the northern region.

Located in Gia Vien district, Van Long is the largest wetland preservation area in the Red River Delta.

Covering 25,000ha, Cuc Phuong Forest is rich in wildlife with natural beauty.

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital is a special cultural-historical relic complex.

Am Tiem Cave in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu is the national historic where formerly incarcerated King Dinh Tien Hoang. 

Kenh Ga floating village on the bank of Hoang Long River is a famous place, not only because it is surrounded by the same massive rocks, but also because for most of the year the entire community lives on the water itself.
