VOV.VN - Hundreds of pink trumpet (Tabebuia rosea or ken hong) flowers are now in full bloom along Dien Bien Phu and Vo Van Kiet Streets, bringing a fresh new look to Ho Chi Minh City in early summer.
The trees were originally brought from America, as their large canopies provide shade for the street. |

The flowers begin to bud in late March and are in full bloom by early April, bathing the streets in bright pink petals. |
The flowers bloom for 3-4 days, before fading. Many locals are interested in seeing the blossoming trees over the short period of their flowering. |
