Picture perfect “Vietnam today” exhibition

VOV.VN - In little more than a year since the launch of the “Vietnam today” photo contest, it has received a vast number of outstanding entries showing off the astounding beauty of the nation and its people.

An exhibition of the most outstanding photos of the contest opened on April 6. Let’s review some of the best works at the exhibition.

Photographer Manh Hung wins first prize with an excellent black and white photo taken at the Mao Khe coal mine in Quang Ninh province.

Second prize goes to to Bui Quoc Si with a stunning photo of subterranean reflection taken at Ca Pass.

A “Wind power” photo by Do Huu Tuan bags second prize. 

Two third prizes are given to Do Thanh Mai for a dramatic photo taken at the Sin Quyen copper complex.

and Kim Manh for a photo of the Dung Quat oil refinery plant.

Consolation prizes are presented to Dinh Huu Ngot, 

Thanh Mien for an aerial photo taken over Cat Ba island,

Tran Thu Ha,

and Tran Vinh Nghia.

The exhibition will run until April 7.
