Hanoi undergoes makeover ahead of Liberation Day celebrations

VOV.VN - With Liberation Day in Hanoi only a day away, every corner of the capital has been decorated with national flags, colourful lights, flowers, and slogans to mark the event which originally took place on October 10, 1954.

National flags can be seen displayed throughout the streets of Hanoi ahead of the 65th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day.
The gate of Lenin Park in Hanoi is adorned with decorations in anticipation of the celebrations.
Banners to commemorate 65 years since the liberation of the capital can be seen flying proudly in several of Hanoi’s streets.

National flags fly high on many notable landmarks throughout the capital city, including on the Hanoi Opera House.
