Hanoi painting exhibition marks 129th birthday of Ho Chi Minh

VOV.VN - An exhibition featuring 38 paintings of President Ho Chi Minh were put on display on the walking streets around Ho Guom, also known as Sword Lake, in Hanoi on May 19.

The exhibition took place at the Vietnamese cultural space on 16 Le Thai To street in Hanoi.
The paintings on display featured Uncle Ho and lotus flowers. They were drawn by artists from a range of historical periods including To Ngoc Van, Mai Van Hien, Pham Van Don, Tran Chat, Dinh Quan, Ngo Hai Yen, and Le Duc Tung.
The event proves to be a popular attraction for both local people and foreign tourists.
The event is one of numerous activities being held to mark the 129th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
Following the exhibition, the paintings are to be showcased at the Hanoi Opera House.
