Farmer’s hard graft with big citrus earns him millions
VOV.VN - Skilled grafter Le Duc Giap from Thanh Oai district, Hanoi can earn hundreds of millions of Vietnam dong during the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) by selling pomelo trees which he has engrafted with up to 10 different varieties of fruit.

Giap says each tree is selected for the soundness of its rootstock and branch strength before being engrafted with different fruits of the same genus, such as kumquat, finger citron, and orange. |

Each plant will cost between VND1.5 million-VND10 million so Mr Giap’s family can earn a healthy income of VND300-500 million every year. |
