VOV.VN - Those who have been immersed in the colour of brilliant red maple leaves in the world will be impressed by these forests in Vietnam. Following are some enjoyable destinations in the country. 

  1. The maple forest in Da Lat city in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong is located inside the Tuyen Lam lake area. Visitors have to row the boat, go through the forest and steep roads to enjoy foliage of maple trees in Mong Mo (Dream) Hill or Bidoup National Park. In addition, they can experience interesting activities by plucking roses and strawberries after visiting the maple forest. 

  1. The primary forest in Che Tao commune, Mu Cang Chai district in Yen Bai province attracts tourists to not only the red, purple and white colour of Do Quyen (water rail) flowers but also a red glow of maple leaves, which create a unique natural scenery. 
  1. Fansipan Mountain in the northern province of Lao Cai is considered the Roof of Indochina. It charms visitors with the stunning beauty of maple trees. Previously, the maple trees were grown at the height of 3,000 metres and not all visitors has the opportunity to see maple leaves with their own eyes. At present, the cable car system has made it easier for them to see prominent red colour of maple leaves in the highest mountain in Vietnam. 
  1. The road to Dia Nguc pagoda in Tam Dao, Vinh Phuc province is covered with foliage of beautiful red maple leaves. Tam Dao is popular for tourists as a resort and tourism site at weekend. 

 

  1. The area at the foot of Thanh Mai pagoda, Tam Ban mountain in Hoang Hoa Tham commune, Chi Linh district in Hai Duong province attracts tourists to its natural scenery in autumn. Visitors can enjoy the transformation in colour of foliage of maple leaves. 
  1. Dong Cao in Bac Giang province is about 170km from Hanoi is an attractive destination for many travellers in autumn, especially with the emergence of red orange colour of maple leaves.
