Da Nang makes thorough preparations for APEC

VOV.VN - Giant TV screens have been erected and flower pots arranged along the roads in preparation for the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week scheduled for November 6-11.

     The lobby in front of the Da Nang City’s Administrative Centre is decorated with flowers. 

    Billboards on APEC Summit 2017 are installed along the Hoang Sa-Vo Nguyen Giap – Truong Sa coastal road.

     Pictured is a large TV screen installed at the junction west of Rong bridge to screen video clips on Danang tourism, infrastructure, investment climate and the upcoming activities of APEC.

    An APEC sculpture garden has been built along the Han River to prepare for the opening of the event.

   Flower pots are placed along the streets of Tran Phu and Bach Dang. Huynh Duc Tho, Chairman of Da Nang’s People’s Committee said APEC is an important event to elevate the image of Da Nang and Vietnam to international friends, including the business community.

    Decorative bulbs are lighted and billboards are hung along main streets like Bach Dang, Nguyen Van Linh and Le Duan to promote the APEC week.

    The city has refurbished the tunnel road at the intersection of Dien Bien Phu-Nguyen Tri Phuong and the tunnel undercross the Han River for APEC week. 

Banners are hung in front of the Han Market to welcome APEC. 

 Posters are hanged in the Han River Bridge to welcome APEC Vietnam 2017.

     

    A countdown clock is put at the eastern side of the Han River Bridge.
