Bach Ma Temple in Hanoi Old Quarter

VOV.VN - Located in the heart of the Old Quarter at 76 Hang Buom Street in the Hoan Kiem District of Hanoi, the small Bach Ma Temple is more than 1,000 years old, the oldest temple in the capital city.

The shrine, also known as the White Horse Temple, was built by the order of King Ly Thai To, the governor of Hanoi, in the 11th century.

However, the architectural construction seen today is more reminiscent of the 18th due to a massive reconstruction.

Admission to the temple is free.

It’s open 7 am to 11 am and 2 pm to 5 pm daily.
