Ba Be Lake Lake View Homestay at Pac Ngoi village

VOV.VN - Homestay tourism promoted in villages around Ba Be lake in Bac Kan province recently, has contributed to local and household economic development.

Homestay service has recently developed in BacKan, especially after the launch of the Greater Mekong Subregion Sustainable Tourism Development Project with loans from Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Head of Pac Ngoi hamlet, Nam Mau commune, Ba Be district Hoang Van Chuyen says that currently, 24 out of 97 households in the hamlet offer homestay service.


Homestay service helps increase income for households in the hamlet and reduce poverty rate in the locality.

Tourists to Pac Ngoi village have the chance to enjoy stunning landscapes at Ba Be lake and experience local life on houses on stilts.

Khanh Toan is the first household in Pac Ngoi that introduced the homestay tourism model.

Two foreigners say they have revisited Ba Be lake to enjoy its beautiful landscapes, cheap service and delicious food.

Homestay in Pac Ngoi also offers bike rental, bike tours and special art performances .

The average accommodation price ranges between VND70,000-80,000 per night.
