Party General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, and a delegation from the Party Central Committee cast their ballots at Polling Station No. 2 in Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi, on March 15 in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Speaking to the press shortly after voting, General Secretary To Lam says election preparations were carried out early and carefully across many areas, helping ensure voters in all circumstances can take part and exercise their democratic rights to directly choose trusted representatives to take on national and local responsibilities.

Also on the morning of March 15, President Luong Cuong casts his ballot at Polling Station No. 26 in Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi, where the opening ceremony of voting for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is held at the hall of the General Department of Political Affairs under the Ministry of National Defence.

Also attending the opening ceremony and casting ballots at Polling Station No. 26 are Gen. Polling Station No. 26 is organized by the Political Department, with 807 voters from eight agencies and units, including the Office of the Inspection Commission of the Central Military Commission, the Office of the General Department of Political Affairs, the Organization Department, the Propaganda and Training Department, the Personnel Department, the Military Security Protection Department (office bloc), the Political Department and the Logistics Department.

Also on the morning of March 15, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Election Council, casts his ballot at Polling Station No. 14 in Hoc Mon commune, Ho Chi Minh City. More than 2,000 voters at the polling station join nearly 9.7 million voters across the city in taking part in the election.

From early morning, the polling station is carefully prepared, with banners and slogans displayed around the area. Voter Pham Minh Trong, 84, the oldest voter at Polling Station No. 7, says he has taken part in many elections, but each time brings a different feeling.
