The programme is taking place at the Central Sector of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.

President Thuong introduced President Marcos Jr. to major customs and practices of Vietnamese people during the Tet holiday. They then enjoyed special art performances promoting Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

The two presidents toured the Thang Long Imperial Citadel - a complex of vestiges associated with the history of Thang Long capital, the former name of Hanoi. The massive architectural structure was built by dynasties during various historical periods and became the most important landmarks in the system of Vietnamese monuments.
