Vietnam Day held in Slovakia attracts thousands of foreign friends

VOV.VN - The third Vietnam Day, also called Den Vietnamu, in Slovakia jointly held by the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese Association in the Central European country recently got underway in Bratislava, with the event drawing around 10,000 local and foreign visitors.

In his remarks given at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Slovakia Nguyen Tuan highlights the significance of the function following the Slovak Government recognising the Vietnamese community as the country’s 14th ethnic minority group back in 2023. The event therefore serves as evidence for the integration capacity of Vietnamese people abroad.

Through the event, the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia hopes to promote Vietnamese culture, cuisine, and famous natural landscapes to Slovak people, thereby attracting more tourists from the Central European country.
