VOV.VN - The 15th version of the Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism Fair opened on November 30 in Mong Cai city in the northeastern province of Quang Ninh, with the event attracting thousands of locals and tourists.

The 15th Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism Fair kicks off on November 30 and is scheduled to last through to December 4.

A wide range of activities take place as part of the occasion, including an exhibition of the two countries’ socioeconomic achievements, a forum on cross-border tourism via the international border gate pair of Mong Cai and Dongxing (China), and a forum on the export of agro-forestry-fisheries products to China.

The highlight of the event is a display and introduction of Vietnamese and Chinese goods.

Agricultural products, seafood, machinery, and electronic equipment are showcased at the function.

The fair is one of the largest international trade events in the key economic hub of northern Vietnam, as well as being part of the national-level trade promotion programme for this year, according to details given by organisers.

OCOP (One commune, One product) goods from Quang Ninh are introduced to visitors.

The fair also helps to promote culture and tourism exchanges between Vietnamese and Chinese localities.
