The Phu Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes the 2026 Phu Tho Tourism famtrip and presstrip program “Connecting heritage regions – diverse experiences” on March 19-20

The night tour is a product Phu Tho province that has developed and piloted since 2019.

After a period of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the product has now resumed operations, ready to welcome visitors to Hung Kings Temple during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day.

Visitors on the night tour are given lanterns before making a pilgrimage to Thuong Temple, where the Hung Kings are worshipped on Nghia Linh Mountain.

Bui Xuan Truong, Deputy Director of the Phu Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the night tour is organized in line with the goal of developing the night-time economy, while creating conditions for visitors to tour and pay tribute at the Hung Kings ancestral land and Phu Tho’s cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO.

The night tour also marks the opening of a series of cultural, sports and tourism events during the 2026 Hung Kings Commemoration Day.

The night tour gives visitors a chance to explore the site at night and pay tribute at the Hung Kings Temple complex on Nghia Linh Mountain, passing through Ha Temple, Trung Temple and Thuong Temple before the final stop at Gieng Temple.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, a visitor from Hanoi says, “The night tour on Nghia Linh Mountain offers a very peaceful setting. In the solemn, sacred and tranquil atmosphere atop Nghia Linh Mountain, each visitor lights incense and a candle in tribute to the ancestors who founded the nation.
