During the course of the first-ever festival held to honour Vietnamese UNESCO-recognised intangible cultural heritages of humanity, visitors are treated to performances in 15 cultural heritage genres, featuring the involvement of nearly 1,000 artisans and performers from 13 provinces and cities nationwide.

The Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space was recognised by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity back in 2005. Three years later, UNESCO added the Space of Gong Culture in Central Highlands to the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
