Speaking at the dialogue, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that many foreign investors have chosen Vietnam as a strategic manufacturing hub, part of global supply chains. The country is increasingly affirming its role as a crucial link in the new global investment value chain, particularly in sectors such as electronics, science and technology, innovation, semiconductors, digital economy, and green economy.

Also on March 10 morning, General Secretary To Lam and his spouse, along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, visit the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta. Building on the recorded solid achievements, both sides agree to upgrade the Vietnam-Indonesia relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They reaffirm the need to resolve East Sea disputes peacefully, refrain from threats or the use of force, and adhere to international law principles, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS 1982).
