Newly-elected PM’s first overseas trip in pictures

PM Chinh leaves Hanoi on April 23 for Jakarta, Indonesia, for the regional leaders’ summit. This is his first overseas trip following his election as Prime Minister of Vietnam by the National Assembly in early April.

Both sides exchanged views on measures to boost bilateral cooperation in various areas, noting that two-way trade value prospered last year, reaching US$8.2 billion, despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
